Anhui Hengchang New Materials Co., Ltd. undertakes the 9 layer of the inner bag component of the water storage container of the Beijing Institute of Control Engineering (the No. 502 Institute of the Fifth Research Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation) of the Space Station Environmental Control and Life Support Subsystem (ECLSS) Production tasks of composite film raw materials. The company began to undertake the development and production of 9-layer composite film in 2012, and has completed the production of multiple batches of nine-layer composite film raw materials. The quality of the raw materials of the nine-layer composite film produced by the company meets the technical requirements of the space station water tank, and has the advantages of high strength, excellent gas barrier performance, and fatigue resistance. At present, more than 100 water tank products based on the raw material of the nine-layer composite film are in orbit, and the products are in good condition, ensuring the life and life needs of astronauts in orbit.
